The Boy And Dad

by Sameer Khan

The boy and dad were walking on the street.
The boy and dad were walking on the street.
They were upon the grounds where the jail and street had meet.

They walked along and said nothing at all.
They walked along and said nothing at all.
The boy wished for his mother to call.

He cried and hugged his dad goodbye.
He cried and hugged his dad goodbye.
He felt like he just wanted to die.

And so he carried out his plan.
And so he carried out his plan.
Killed by himself, the boy never lived to be a man.
