Artemis with her bow and arrow
as swift as a sparrow.
Cunning as a fox…
With flying brown locks!
Twenty woods nymphs at her side,
Hunting the bear, she seems to fly!
Fifty water nymphs to sing for her,
But she runs away in a blur!
A man named Actaeon saw Artemis…
Punished for trying at a kiss!
Artemis in her silver chariot
Hunting the stag that wanted to marry her!
